BLOG 5: CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAM Well, today's topic is the changes I would make to my study program.  To give you a little more context, I'm in my first year of dentistry at the University of Chile. Normally, I don't usually pay much attention to what surrounds me and I tend to easily accept inconveniences that may arise externally. However, from my point of view, there are some problems in the university that I think every student would like to solve. The first thing I would recommend is that we need a space with a larger capacity for lunch due to the large number of students. The canteen is usually quite full during meal times and the time to buy is also usually long. It should be considered that classes will probably be fully in-person next year and new students are usually no less than 100 people.  In addition to the large number of students that are going to arrive, another important issue that we have to solve is the availability of rooms to do classes, which u...

BLOG 4: TIME TRAVEL TO THE PAST OR THE FUTURE If I had a time machine and I could travel just once between the past or the future, I think I would decide to travel to the future. For me, the past is the past, things happened for a reason and cannot be changed. Of course, there are good memories, but there is not much to discover. However, the future is uncertain, so that option will catch my attention more. I would travel alone. I guess since I want to do things that involve my personal life, I wouldn't want to involve more people. I wouldn't pick a time period too far in the future, maybe just 10 years in the future?...  I wonder if traveling to the future you can find yourself. It would be very interesting to know what kind of person I will become. I would like to know how my little sister has grown. I would like to taste different dishes and see if they have changed. It may sound a bit childish, but I would probably also start looking for all the new songs my favorite arti...

BLOG 3: MY FAVORITE CARTOON  When I was between 10 and 15 years old, I went through a phase in which I was obsessed with cartoons. I liked to watch them chronologically and I was aware of the premieres of each new chapter in real time and in its original language. My favorite of all was "Gravity Falls". It left me hooked from the first chapter and I have liked no other cartoon so much. I tuned in to it every day, I even didn't mind watching the same episodes over and over again...  The story is about the twins, Dipper and Mabel, who are going to spend their summer vacations at their great-uncle Stan's shack, a tourist spot in town called the "mystery shack" that functions as a kind of family business that Dipper and Mabel were forced into help. Everything seemed a bit monotonous until Dipper went to the woods to put up some brochures to promote the shack and found a diary of an unknown author that tells all the secrets of the town and talks about monsters an...

BLOG 2: THE BEST HOLYDAYS I'VE HAD

My holidays usually consist of resting and helping with the family business, nothing very special. However, normally in February we always take a break from the routine, which I really appreciate becuase my mind really need it...  Probably because it's the most recent, my most memorable holiday was last year. I was with my whole family (my 2 parents and my 2 sisters) for a full week in Pichilemu. I really like the beach and the food. I went out almost every day to play with my little sister, and to eat in restaurants. I ate octopus for the first time and I loved it, but probably my favorite part was going out to watch the sunset while walking through the beach. Luckily, the weather was favorable every day and the beach didn't feel too crowded. I would say that it was my favorite holiday for the simple fact that I was able to really disconnect my mind and rest properly. I would like it to be repeated this year if it's possible. I really regrate not taking more photos...

BLOG I: A COUNTRY I WOULD LIKE TO VISIT Lately, one of my wishes is to have the opportunity to travel to Japan. There are so many things that I find so interesting and entertaining. My curiosity in the country started because I like watching anime, but over time there were more things that caught my attention.  The technology there is one of the most advanced in the world. Japan has incredible architecture, beautiful landscapes and an amazing culture. If I went there, I would like to visit and walk around various cities and tourist places such as Tokyo, the Japanese castles in Kyoto or the Ghigli museum, as well to enjoy food. I would like to stay there maybe a month or two during the spring if possible, because I also want to see the cherry blossoms. However, I wouldn't like to live there because work and life there are too demanding and stressful for me.
